Banned Medications. Dianabol.

Some facts about Dianabol.

Methandrostenolone (Dianabol, DBOL) is an anabolic steroid originally developed by John Ziegler and released in the US in 1958 by Ciba (other sources say that the drug was released in 1956 and marketed in USA in 1960). It was used as an aid to muscle growth by bodybuilders until its ban by the FDA under the Controlled Substances Act. Despite this, methandrostenolone continues to be produced in countries such as Mexico and is being manufactured in Russia, as well as Thailand, and subsequently is still seen on the United States black market. Production in most of Western Europe and the United States has ceased.

Some of the modern production forms of Dianabol can be seen below:

In 1982 the company "Ciba-Geigy" withdrew from the market all medicines sold under the trade name Dianabol, in all forms, due to the abuse of them. The company then explained its step by growing misuse of Dianabol in some developing countries where the drug was prescribed to increase appetite, for better absorption of protein and was prescribed to all without exception, even to women and children.

The ban by the FDA was not completely successful in eliminating its use by bodybuilders, and methandrostenolone continues to be used illegally to this day, typically being combined (stacked) with drugs that react strongly with the androgen receptor.

For body builders that are not obsessed with instant muscle growth there are many other legal and safe medications that will help to grow muscles, but do not have those side effects, that Dianabol has.

Safe medications for body-builders.
